Beijing Road is a commercial corridor situated in the historic core of Guangzhou, stretching from Pazhou Temple in the north to Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street in the south. The street features a series of glass skylights embedded in the pavement that reveal preserved archaeological remains of ancient Shang dynasty and Sui dynasty city walls and building foundations.
