Located on a hill between Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung Palaces, Bukchon is a preserved residential area featuring approximately 900 traditional Korean hanok houses. Established during the Joseon Dynasty, the village retains its narrow alleyways and diverse architectural structures that once housed royal officials and scholars.
